Does anyone have a traditional American Brownie Recipe. Thanks?

Im in Zagreb Croatia and the American lady who used to make them for us here has returned to the States.We all miss them and need another fix there addictive and we lost the recipe. We tried the store bought ones and they suck. Would be really grateful for any help so we can make them again come on guys hook me up were suffering here. Oh dont worry about metric weights and stuff Im British so i understand imperial measurements. Thanks in advance
